The Olympic and sports museum is an innovative center for sport history and is the first museum in the Middle East dedicated to achievement in sports. The museum is built for different audiences and has galleries housing objects from around the globe from the origin of sport to the present day.
The National Museum of Qatar celebrates the heritage, culture, past, present and future of Qatar. SOUQ WAQIF is the most popular tourist attraction and the oldest souq in Doha. The market was named Souq Waqif (Standing Market) because sellers used to stand at the entrance to display their wares. It is popularly said that no trip to Doha is complete without visiting Souq Waqif.
